It always amazes me that more people don’t utilize GPS tracking technology. It’s available, very affordable, and can save your finance portfolio. Last week I got a call from one of our many auto dealerships in Arizona. He said a vehicle from stolen from a “great paying customer”. The problem was that this customer didn’t carry full coverage insurance. Right away the dealer could be out $6,500 on this deal. Sure, he could go after the customer but we all know that isn’t very easy.
Since the dealership puts GPS tracking technology on every car sold, they were able to locate the vehicle in seconds. He called the men in blue and they went to the house where the car was at. Unfortunately, those who stole the car left it in a parking lot so they were not caught. The vehicle was returned and all is well.
