Recorded footage is saved to an SD card in the dash cam, which automatically records over the oldest footage as it fills up. With typical usage, you can expect about 10 days of footage. If something important happens, you can download that footage anytime so it’s saved for good.
The dash cam can alert you to risky driving like phone use, distracted or inattentive driving, fatigue driving, seatbelt use, driving too close, incomplete stops, and collisions. Each alert comes with a video clip that’s saved in the cloud, so you can review exactly what happened.
Alert videos are saved in the cloud permanently, so you can go back and watch them anytime. They don’t depend on the SD card, and the dash cam doesn’t need to be on to view them.
Your dash cam records the road ahead and the inside of the vehicle, giving you video evidence of what happened. If the vehicle isn’t drivable, you can remove the SD card from the dash cam and download the footage directly from it.
