I mean it would be awesome if they did. If the cart is going 30 miles per hour, most likely it’s being towed behind a car. So this means it’s probably stolen.
The GPS tracker will show all stops. So even if it stops at a gas station, the time stamp would allow the police to get the security footage and maybe get a license plate to what was pulling it. How cool is that.
Sometimes, the golf carts get left in weird places. Just like shopping carts at grocery stores. They get left in the parking lot, behind the bathrooms, etc. So the crew needs to account for all carts before they go home. Sometimes it takes everyone taking carts out to locate it.
