South Carolina Trailer Recovered with Our GPS Tracking Device

At GPS and Track, we recently dealt with a stolen trailer in South Carolina. Fortunately, the client had the foresight to outfit all of their trailers and equipment with GPS tracking devices due to previous thefts. Here’s what happened: the trailer was stolen and taken to a remote location, but thanks to the GPS tracker, we were able to pinpoint its exact location against a wall. The trailer had been moved between the gate and the wall. The police were notified and are on their way to recover the stolen item. Typically, thieves will attempt to move the item around to different locations to avoid detection, but in this case, the tracker allowed us to locate it. The trailer was recovered and the police were able to apprehend the thieves. Our GPS tracker used in this case was a small 2-inch by 1.75-inch box with a battery life of up to five years. Our GPS trackers been instrumental in recovering millions of dollars worth of stolen equipment. The tracker was able to show the exact location where the trailer was stolen, where it was taken, and where it was ultimately recovered.
