Why do I always get a command failed when I try clicking on the binocular icon?
The LMU-330 is set up to update when it is moved. When it stops, it will give you it’s location and then it will basically say, “Hey I’m here at this location. But I’m going into sleepmode now.” While it’s in sleepmode, it will only update once a day, the lights will go off and you will be unable to click “Locate Now.” When it starts moving again, it will wake up again and you will be able to click Locate Now as often as you like. Until it stops again and follows the cycle. The idea is that if it’s stopped in the same location you don’t need to use Locate Now because it is just in sleepmode in the same location. The LMU-330 are all programmed to go into a low power mode because they are mostly put on motorcycles or boats, so they wouldn’t drain too much battery while the equipment sat unused. If battery is not a concern for you or this particular piece of equipment is in use often, we can reprogram this to not even go into sleepmode. You will be able to click Locate Now at anytime. It will work just like the 1230 instead.
