How Repo Agents
Find Assigned Vehicles in
the GPS and Track App

If you’re a recovery agent working with GPS and Track, everything you need to locate an assigned vehicle is already waiting in your account.

This guide walks through how to log in, pull up the right vehicle, confirm where it is now, and use its location history to plan your recovery.

Questions? Call our support team for help.

To Log in:

  • Your login credentials will either be given to you directly or sent by email from Mike at GPS and Track.
Can’t find the email? Check your spam folder first. If it’s not there, call (800) 578-1809 and choose option 2, and the team will get you set up.
  • The app is the easiest way to access everything. Search “GPS and Track” on the Apple App Store or Google Play, download it, and log in with your credentials.
Prefer a browser? You can also sign in directly on the GPS and Track website.

See Your Vehicles on the Map:

Once you’re logged in, the vehicles assigned to you are already loaded and ready to go. The map shows the most recent location of each one, so you can get your bearings right away.

Search by the Last Six Digits of the VIN:

If your account has multiple vehicles, type the last six digits of the VIN into the search bar to pull up the one you need. Tap the device to open its details and travel history.

Confirm the Current Location:

How you confirm location depends on the
type of tracker installed:

  • Wired GPS tracker: Hit the Locate button to send a signal and confirm where the vehicle is right now.
  • Wireless GPS tracker: The device reports on its own, based on movement or a daily check-in. The most recent update on the map is the most up-to-date location available.

Use Location History to Plan Your Recovery:

Where a vehicle has been can tell you where it’s likely to be. To get there, select the vehicle from your device list, tap Latest in the top right corner, and choose Event History.

In that same section, two more tools take it further:

  • Top Events pulls together the locations the vehicle visits most often.
  • 7 Day List tells you the most likely location for the vehicle based on the day and time period, so you can plan your recovery around it.
