How to Set Up
Fleet Alerts
Fleet alerts are your first line of defense, and setting them up is now easier than ever. Whether it’s speeding, a power disconnect, or a device that’s gone quiet, alerts let you know right away so you can act before a small issue becomes a big one. Everything now lives in one place in the GPS Track Fleet Portal, so there’s no more clicking around your account to get things set up.

To open Fleet Alerts Settings:
Set Alerts for a Single Device:
Click the Select Device(s) dropdown and choose your device.
Set Your Speed and Low Battery Limits
If you turn on a speed or low battery alert, enter your limit in the field below the alert list. This tells the system when to notify you. When everything looks good, click Submit.
Without a contact on file, your alerts have nowhere to go, so don’t skip this step.
Turn On After Hours Movement Alerts
You can also turn on After Hours Movement Alerts right from this screen, so you’ll know if a vehicle moves outside of its normal working hours.
Set Alerts for Multiple Devices:
To manage alerts across your fleet, choose All Devices from the Select Device(s) dropdown, or narrow it down by device type.
Then click Save changes.
Alert Availability by Device Type
Some alerts are only available for certain device types. If your fleet includes more than one type of device, your alert options may vary slightly between them.
A dash instead of a checkbox means that alert isn’t available for that device.
Add Your Alert Contacts:
Alerts are sent by text and email, so the last step is making sure they have somewhere to go.
For phone numbers, enter numbers only, with no spaces or dashes.
Improve Fleet Efficiency with the Engine Report:
The Engine Report gives fleet managers the data needed to reduce unnecessary idling, lower fuel expenses, and improve overall vehicle efficiency. By monitoring engine activity, tracking idle violations, and identifying trends over time, you can make informed decisions that help keep your fleet productive and operating at its best.
If you have questions about the Engine Report or any feature within the GPS Track Fleet Portal, contact our support team.
